KTS detectives have a lot to learn in the next few weeks. This is an exciting training.
Today, they got to be signature fakers!
First, they had to fake their team member's signatures, paying attention to details such as letter height, spacing between them, stroke style, among many others. They got pretty good.
And then, they went on a treasure hunt. To find the treasure, they had to follow instructions written in a letter addressed to each team and in several places around the house. But which instructions were correct and which were distractions? Only those written by the same hand that wrote the letter brought them to the treasure!
Why is this important? Often, notes or sketches written by the artists in the back of a canvas, letters or diaries, can provide clues as to the authenticity of an art piece.
Till next week!
